CHAIRMAN

NOCER MATHEW

Mathew MV (Nocer Mathew), founder and President of Nocer India. He is an Ashoka Fellow. He has been working as a social engineer for more than 35 years. He has worked in various projects and activities with more than 20 organizations in India. Also held crucial roles in these organizations. Most of the projects were supported by the people, the Government and other NGOs.

He has written 41 books and translated 40 books from English to Malayalam including the Indian Constitution. He has travelled 1,44,440 km in a jeep through Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. He has conducted an all-India tour in 31 days with 9 volunteers. He has conducted 45012 corner meetings, 772 seminars, 4 national seminars; attended several seminars, trainings all over India. He is an active advocate of Breastfeeding Promotion Programme from 1995 onwards. He has undergone Counselling courses in promoting breastfeed from Gorakhpur Medical College. He has undergone the career guidance counselling course from Rajiv Gandhi Youth Institute, Perumbathoor.

He has undergone a month of training course on Indian Constitution from Indian Social Institute, Bangalore. And he has undergone 15 days of a certification course on Fundamental Rights and Duties from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Now he is initiating “Happy Village Global” from 2018 onwards. He has conducted 1420 webinars, 7000 consumer complaints have been finalised through mediation. He is the chief editor of 5 publications including Awake Consumers, Consumer News, and an evening daily named ‘Consumer News’ in Malayalam. He is the National Vice President of Consumer Confederation of India(CCI) and the organising secretary of AIWC and the Chairman for Rural Empowerment of Consumers in India of consumer coordination council.

GENERAL SECRETARY

SARAMMA POULOSE

Saramma Poulose, elected as general secretary, is a full-time social worker. Her majority of works are focused on the development of the underdeveloped people of Nilgiri, Tamilnadu. She works as Unit development coordinator of Shreyas Social service Bathery, Ayyankolly Branch. She has been involved in many projects and activities.

LEENA PV

Leena PV, elected as treasurer of Nocer Hai Rainbow consumers council, is an M.Com graduate. She is an active member of various projects organized by NHRCC. Currently working as an Insurance agent. She is in charge of Nocer Hai Rainbow Consumers Council, Kannur region. She is working as a paralegal volunteer with legal services authority, Kannur.

Jyothi S, treasurer of Nocer Hai Rainbow Consumers Council. Her works are primarily focused in Karnataka. She had been involved in various projects under Nocer India and held crucial roles in different NGOs.
